UMiami AAUP is an independent publication launched in 2025 by the University of Miami's American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Advocacy Chapter. Our chapter retains its founding philosophy as the UMiami Employee Allinace: we welcome all UM faculty, staff, and graduate students to join our chapter. We are a wall-to-wall volunteer organization.

Our posts reflect the views of our chapter only. We do not speak for the Univeristy of Miami as an institution in any official capacity, nor are our opinions necessarily the same as the national AAUP's.
